Manifest Season 4: Netflix Release Date, Cast & Story

Manifest Netflix Season 4

It was revealed earlier today that Netflix has swooped in and opted to save the NBC show Manifest for Season 4.

This was revealed by Variety and it’s kind of crazy news.

They also revealed that this upcoming Season 4 will be the show’s final season, which is bittersweet.

We here at Small Screen are delighted that the show will get a final season.

It was also revealed that Manifest Season 4 will be a super-sized season with 20 episodes, which is unusual for Netflix shows.

Not even Lucifer got 20 episodes when Netflix saved the show after having been cancelled.

Anyway, we wanted to look into when Manifest season 4’s release date on Netflix could be and who might star in it.

We also wanted to find out what the fourth’s season’s story could be.

These aren’t easy questions to answer, and you probably won’t like the open-ended answers we come up with.

The fact of the matter is that it’s not easy to predict these things because Netflix is so secretive and also the pandemic has really thrown everyone through a loop.

It’s not as easy to make shows and movies as it was before the pandemic, and it really has put huge delays on things.

That said, let’s try and answer these questions you might have.

Well, given that the show was officially cancelled by NBC ten weeks ago and was only just picked up by Netflix, I’m thinking that Season 4 might be still some ways off.

That said, I’m pretty sure that the show’s creator, Jeff Rake has a good idea of what’s going to happen in Season 4.

This means that scripts for the final season have probably already been written, or are very close to being finished.

So, with this in mind, Netflix could get the ball rolling on this show asap.

And, I’m pretty sure they will do given how popular the show’s already proving to be on the streaming platform.

Manifest’s first three seasons are available to watch on Netflix right now, and they’re doing incredible numbers in the US and worldwide.

It seems as though this show found new life on Netflix – life it just didn’t really have on NBC.

I’m not at all surprised given that it’s the type of show that benefits from being binge-watched.

It’s the type of show that would do very well on Netflix, which is probably why they decided to pick it up.

Anyway, back to a potential release date for Manifest Season 4.

I’m thinking that Netflix will want this final season to be released in 2022, so as soon as humanly possible.

My best guess is that we might see Manifest Season 4 drop at around Christmas time 2022.

This means that fans will get a very nice present from Netflix next year.

So, who could star in the fourth and final season?

Well, I’m pretty sure that the original cast will all return to for the final season.

That said, the returning cast has not yet been confirmed.

However, I am sure that the likes of Melissa Roxburgh, Josh Dallas, Athena Karkanis, J. R. Ramirez, Luna Blaise, Jack Messina, Parveen Kaur, Matt Long and Holly Taylor will all return for Manfiest’s final season.

This is actually a much harder question to answer.

So, the show is about passengers from fictional flight Montego Air 828 who experience a severe bout of turbulence while flying from Jamaica to New York City, only when they land, they learn that five and a half years actually passed — and they have returned with the special ability to see glimpses of events to come.

So, what I think will happen in this fourth and final season is that the passengers from the flight will finally get some sort of the answers they’ve been seeking for three seasons.

This is why fans of the show were so annoyed when NBC cancelled the show.

They didn’t get any clear answers and I think that Rake wants to give the fans the answers they’ve been so desperately seeking.

Hopefully, the ending will be a satisfying one, and not like Dexter (which is coming back!) Lost or The Sopranos!

If this show fades to black, I will scream!
