The show’s first two episodes were released on Friday, May 27th.
This means that we’re going to get to watch Obi-Wan Kenobi Episode 3 a whole days earlier than we thought we would.
It’s also been revealed that new episodes of the show are going to be made available on Wednesdays from now on!
So, with that in mind, here is the updated release schedule for Obi-Wan Kenobi:
Episode 1 and 2: May 27th
Episode 3: June 1st
Episode 4: June 8th
Episode 5: June 15th
Episode 6: June 22nd
Obi-Wan Kenobi Episode 3 is being released two days early!
This is actually a much better idea since for some reason shows that were released on Fridays on Disney Plus have seemingly performed worse than ones which were released on Wednesdays.
There must be some reason for that, but I’m not sure what it could be.
Maybe people are starting to go out more again and will rather catch the show after its release than they would do during the week?
However, that’s not all. There have also been some rumours that Obi-Wan Kenobi will last longer than six episodes.
This comes after the show’s star, Ewan McGregor, teased during Star Wars Celebration that there could be an episode 7, 8 and even 9!
Here’s what the actor said via Star Wars’ official YouTube channel:
It was amazing watching the first two episodes [of Obi-Wan Kenobi] the other night. I hope you love episode three and then four and five and six.. and seven and eight and nine and ten!
