Amber Heard Storms Out Of Court After Her Lawyer’s Terrible Performance

Amber-Heard-Perjury

Amber Heard stormed out of court yesterday during the Johnny Depp defamation trial after her lawyer, Elaine Bredehoft, delivered a pretty terrible performance during the redirect.

You can watch the moment Amber Heard stormed out of the court via this YouTube video.

This took place yesterday during the defence’s redirect.

Some of you might not know what a ‘redirect’ is. I know I didn’t before this trial.

Redirect, “is the examination of your own witness after he has been cross-examined by your adversary.”

Well, Johnny Depp’s lawyer, Camille Vasquez delivered a pretty gruelling cross-examination, and it was time for Heard and her team to gain back some ground.

However, Bredehoft seemed very unprepared and her questions kept on getting shot down by Vasquez.

Vasquez was objecting to almost every question for ‘leading the witness’, ‘hearsay’, ‘irrelevance’ and ‘speculation’.

Bredehoft literally couldn’t get a word in edgeways and was clearly flustered since the judge was sustaining almost all of Vasquez’s objections.

This really was not a good look for the defence and Amber Heard personally since she even ended up being reprimanded by the judge.

Heard was trying to answer her lawyer’s questions even though Vasquez had objected to it.

Normally, when there’s an objection, you’re supposed to wait for the judge to either overrule or sustain the objection before answering.

Heard wasn’t doing that, and the Aquaman actress was clearly getting more and more flustered.

The storming out moment came when Bredehoft just couldn’t carry on with the questioning and claimed that she had no more questions for her client.

Heard was visibly angered by this whole ordeal and she ended up getting up and walking out of the courtroom.

She was followed by one of the court’s guards.

Could Amber Heard be about to fire her lawyers?

Now, at first glance, this might not look like anything.

However, if you’re familiar with courtroom etiquette, then you might know that you’re supposed to wait for the jury and the judge to leave the courtroom first before you.

This was the first time that Heard left the courtroom before the judge and jury. It’s really not a good look.

It’s since been reported that she was furious with her defence team and in particular her lawyer, Elaine Bredehoft.

I’ll go into what reportedly happened between Heard and Bredehoft after yesterday’s redirect in another article.
