Disney Plus’ Obi-Wan Kenobi TV Show Might Have Been Delayed By Luscasfilm

There’s been a lot of talk recently about what’s going on with the Obi-Wan Kenobi TV show on Disney Plus.

There had been multiple reports that the series which will hopefully see Ewan McGregor return as the Jedi Knight had been cancelled.

However, those reports were revealed to have been literal fake news created by a parody Twitter account.

That was a fun little thing to happen especially for Disney and Lucasfilm who would have been rather worried by the fact that this news was trending on Twitter.

Anyway, we’re now getting reports that the Obi-Wan Kenobi series may have been delayed on Disney Plus.

According to FandomWire, Lucasfilm has opted to delay the series, and hopefully, this will be a good thing because it means they want to spend more time on it.

The series is supposedly being developed by Deborah Chow who’s acting as the show’s showrunner.

I really do want them to keep her on board as she did a great job directing the episodes of The Mandalorian she got to helm.

She directed two episodes of the very first live-action Star Wars series and they were impressive.

We’re just going to have wait and see what happens with the Obi-Wan Kenobi TV show on Disney Plus.

What do you think? Has Lucasfilm and Disney Plus delayed the Obi-Wan Kenobi TV show?
