It was revealed not too long ago that Clarkson’s Farm Season 2 is happening over at Prime Video, and fans are eager to know what’s in store. However, there has been plenty of controversies surrounding the show, and its main man, Jeremy Clarkson.
I’ll go into all of that in a minute, but the first question I think many of you will want to be answered is what’s going to happen in the second season and when it’ll be released. In this article, I’m going to try and answer those questions for you to the best of my ability.
I’m also going to look at future seasons of the show and explore whether they are going to happen or not. And yes, I’m also going to talk about how Clarkson landed himself in hot water recently and basically ruined his career and the careers of many other people who work with him on Clarkson’s Farm and The Grand Tour.
The show has been a massive success, with its blend of humour, farming know-how, and behind-the-scenes glimpses of rural life. With the first season’s finale leaving fans on a cliffhanger, they’re eager to know what’s next.
So, without any further ado, let’s get into what to expect from Clarkson’s Farm Season 2.
When will Clarkson’s Farm’s next season be released?
Clarkson’s Farm Season 2 will be released in only a couple of days’ time. It was revealed that the second season of the show was going to be released on Prime Video on February 10th, 2023.
This was precisely in the release window that our source had previously informed us about. Before sharing the exact release date with us, our source had this to say about the upcoming season of Clarkson’s Farm on Amazon Prime Video:
At the moment, we cannot share a precise release date with you. All we can give you is a January to March 2023 release window.
A few weeks later, our source came back to us with a bit more information on the matter. Here’s what they had to say:
Right now, we’re targeting a February 2023 release. Yet, that is subject to change depending on how long we take to edit the bloody thing. It’s going to be a pretty big beast this time around – so much farming and Clarkson nonsense!
So, it seems our sources were spot on, as it’s now been revealed that the new series will be released on Amazon’s streaming platform on February 10th, 2023. This was then confirmed by Clarkson’s and Prime Video’s rather cryptic posts. The caption read as follows:
We’ve hidden something exciting in these fun facts… did you work it out?
The first slide read: “Jeremy lost 10 acres of crops in his first year of farming”. The second slide read: ‘Kaleb gets his hair cut in February“. The third slide read: “It can take 2023 hours for a potato to grow”.
The final two slides further emphasised the answer, stating: “Charlie’s favourite season is spring,” and: “Jeremy had two painful sheep encounters in Season 1.”
What could happen in Clarkson’s Farm Season 2?
So, in the upcoming season of Clarkson’s Farm, Jeremy and Kaleb Cooper will undoubtedly end up having to face a new set of challenges as they continue to run the farm. There will be new crops to plant, new animals to raise, and new equipment to master.
Clarkson will also have to deal with the changing seasons, including the harsh winter weather that can make life difficult for farmers. Fans can expect to see Jeremy’s trademark humour, as well as his ingenuity, as he rises to these challenges.
Clarkson and Cooper have already shared some glimpses of what to expect from the second season via their social media accounts. So much has happened to Clarkson over the past few months that I’m sure there’ll be a lot of stuff to cover in the second season.
I have a feeling that a larger part of the second season will focus on Jeremy and his antics running his farm shop, Diddly Squat. It had to be closed down on multiple occasions after Clarkson started some wild plan to make more money from his farm’s products using the shop.
He also tried to open a cafe, which ended up being closed because of some red tape nonsense. However, I’m not sure whether that will feature in Season 2 or Season 3.
Is there a Clarkson’s Farm Season 3?

However, the bad news is that will be it for the series, since Amazon opted not to renew its contract with Jeremy after 2024, meaning that there will be no future seasons of Clarkson’s Farm beyond Season 3.
That is such a shame because Clarkson’s Farm and The Grand Tour were two of Prime Video’s best shows. Judging by fans’ reactions online to the news that Amazon opted now to renew Clarkson’s contract, there will be a lot of people cancelling their Prime Video subscriptions after Clarkson’s Farm and The Grand Tour have ended.
When Could Clarkson’s Farm Season 3 Be Released?
There is no official release date for the third season. However, it will most certainly be released next year, in 2024, since that’s when Clarkson’s deal with Amazon Studios will run out.
I think that the show will air towards the beginning of the year since it’s being filmed as we speak and they tend to take about a year to make from start to finish.
Has a trailer for Clarkson’s Farm Season 2 been released?

Yes, a trailer for Clarkson’s Farm Season 2 has been released, giving fans a glimpse of what they can expect from the new season. The trailer features Jeremy working on the farm, dealing with new challenges, and interacting with the animals.
Jeremy and Kaleb have also posted a lot of stuff on their social media accounts about the next seasons of Clarkson’s Farm, so be sure to check them out on Instagram!
Has Clarkson’s Farm been cancelled?
As mentioned above, Amazon Studios opted not to renew Jeremy Clarkson’s contract beyond 2024 after his article in The Sun. Clarkson wrote an op-ed for the newspaper in which he made comments about Meghan Markle.
I won’t go into what Clarkson wrote about the Dutchess Of Sussex, but he did make reference to the ‘shame’ scene in Game Of Thrones, and it did not go down well. Clarkson ended up apologising for the article and asked The Sun to take it down.
However, the damage was done, and people were furious with Clarkson and The Sun for posting it. I have to say, I was shocked that the article was published in the first place.
That said, I’m sure that Clarkson will end up landing on his feet. The guy seems to be Teflon. He’s always involved in some sort of controversy and then ends up with an even bigger show.
Jeremy used to present the BBC show, Top Gear until he punched one of the show’s producers in the face and was fired from the show. However, he, Richard Hammond and James May ended up moving to Amazon and started The Grand Tour, which became a much bigger show than Top Gear ever was.
So, it’ll be interesting to see what Clarkson decides to do next. I disagree with what he wrote in The Sun. I thought it was not funny and in very poor taste. However, I do enjoy Jeremy’s content, such as Clarkson’s Farm, The Grand Tour, and I even like him as the presenter of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, so I’m looking forward to seeing what he does next.
Right, let’s end this rather long and waffly article by saying that Clarkson’s Farm Season 2 promises to be just as entertaining as the first season. Fans can expect to see Jeremy rising to new challenges, making them laugh, and showcasing his expertise in all things farming.
The third season is coming, and it will be the end of the show, which is a shame, but let’s all hope that the show goes out on a high note rather than a sad one.
