It’s been revealed to us that Tom Holland will play Spider-Man again after No Way Home – they’re just sorting out the contract as we speak.

Before I go into what our insider had to say about Tom Holland’s contract – which we recently explained in a video on our YouTube channel – we need to also talk about what Marvel President Kevin Feige had to say on the matter.

In Empire magazine, Feige revealed what happened before they finally managed to get that Spider-Man deal signed with Sony Pictures before they began work on Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Feige revealed the following:

I was mentally preparing to emotionally separate from it. I didn’t love it, but it is what it is. And then, thankfully, it came back together.

However, Feige then went on to reveal that this sort of dispute with Sony Pictures over the Spider-Man movie rights wouldn’t happen again.

Here’s what Feige had to say about his optimism for the future of Marvel and Sony’s working relationship:

I don’t anticipate us going through that emotional rollercoaster, or putting fans through that emotional rollercoaster, again.

Don’t panic! Tom Holland will play Spider-Man again after No Way Home

So, with this in mind, Marvel and Sony are doing everything they can to do make sure Tom Holland stays on as Spider-Man for as long as he can.

Here’s what our insider had to say about Tom Holland’s Spider-Man contract:

Sony basically wants to put Tom Holland’s Spider-Man in every single ‘SpiderVerse’ property they can. They want to milk it, but Marvel Studios is much more cautious.

Our insider continued:

Money is no object for Marvel and Sony, so it’s not a money thing.

There has been a lot of speculation online about whether No Way Home will be Tom Holland’s last time playing Spidey.

That’s just not going to be the case, so you can all calm down.

Holland will definitely continue to play Spider-Man as long as his body and mind will allow him to.

Basically, it’s totally up to Holland how long he plays the role.
