Gal Gadot Cast As Evil Queen In Live-Action Snow White

It’s been revealed that Disney has cast Gal Gadot as the Evil Queen in an upcoming live-action Snow White movie, which is interesting casting.

This news was revealed by The Hollywood Reporter.

Gal Gadot is about to be seen in Netflix’s Red Notice movie, which is being released on the streaming platform on November 5th.

That film looks all set to become Netflix’s biggest hit ever.

It doesn’t just star Gal Gadot, but Ryan Reynolds and Dwayne Johnson are also in the film, so it’s going to be huge.

Anyway, Gadot is in final negotiations to star as the Evil Queen in Disney’s live-action take on its classic animated movie, Snow White.

The original movie came out back in 1938 and features the Seven Dwarves.

I’ll be interested to find out who they end up casting as Snow White and the Dwarves.

As for the Evil Queen, she’s easily one of Disney’s best villains ever – along with Sleeping Beauty’s Maleficent.

The Evil Queen is the one who famously says the line: “Mirror, mirror, on the wall, who is fairest of them all?”

The Mirror responds that the Queen is, however, there is a day when it doesn’t say that the Queen is the fairest of them all.

It ends up showing Snow White instead and this sends the Queen into a murderous rampage and she gets a Huntsman involved to assassinate Snow White.

The movie will be directed by Marc Webb, and Rachel Zegler has already been cast as Snow White.

The new feature will have songs as well, with Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, the Oscar- and Tony-winning duo behind La La Land, The Greatest Showman and Dear Evan Hansen, writing new songs for the project.

Marc Platt is producing.
