The Wheel Of Time Season 3 Renewed By Amazon

The-Wheel-Of-Time-Season-3-Renewed-By-Amazon

It seems as though The Wheel Of Time Season 3 has been renewed by Amazon Prime Video, which I believe is very good news.

Why do I like this news? Well, I like it because I actually think the show has a lot of promise.

Granted, the first season was amazing, but I thought it was enjoyable and there were some really good ideas there and some great performances.

Rosamund Pike is brilliant as the Aes Sedai, Moiraine Damodred.

I also quite liked some of the supporting cast. I thought that Daniel Henney as al’Lan Mandragoran, Moiraine’s Warder, was particularly good in the show.

There was some controversy surrounding Barney Harris when it was revealed that his character in the first season, Mat Cauthon had been recast.

He’ll be played by Dónal Finn in Season 2 and beyond.

Anyway, back to The Wheel Of Time Season 3. Who’s revealed that Amazon had given it the green light?

Well, it comes from multiple sources.

A website called Midgard Times published an ‘exclusive’ article in which they claim that they were informed by an insider that Amazon Studios and Sony Pictures Television had given Season 3 the green light.

They also added that The Wheel Of Time Season 3 will start shooting immediately after the second season finishes filming in the Czech Republic.

They added: “The information comes from a credible source in the Czech Republic, who has previously informed us about Hanna Season 3 filming status and the number of episodes.”

Is this source credible?

Now, I don’t know much about this site, but what I will say is that this report aligns pretty much perfectly which what we’ve been told about the third season of this new hit show.

The Wheel Of Time Season 2 will finish filming in February, and it seems like there’ll be a few months break for the actors before they start working on the third season.

Amazon seems very keen on this show and wants to get as many seasons in the can as they, well, can… (sorry).
