It’s been revealed that Lucasfilm’s The Mandalorian Season 3 has wrapped production (aka – filming) which hopefully means that the season should be coming to Disney Plus relatively soon!

This was actually revealed by Carl Weathers via Twitter (via PunkBeast).

So, what happened?

Well, Star Wars Stuff tweeted the following:

#TheMandalorian Season 3 has wrapped filming!

Weathers then quote tweeted said tweet and wrote:

…And what a season of WONDERFULNESS! #BePeace

This third season of The Mandalorian is going to be a really interesting one.

We’ve just seen The Book Of Boba Fett and we’re about to see the Obi-Wan Kenobi series on Disney Plus.

The Book Of Boba Fett wasn’t terribly well-received by Star Wars fans.

I’m sure that Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni will be looking to get the fans back on their side with Season 3 of The Mandalorian.

When will The Mandalorian Season 3 be released on Disney Plus?

There have been questions about when Season 3 might end up being released on Disney Plus.

We haven’t actually got an official release date yet for The Mandalorian Season 3.

However, given the fact that the show’s already wrapped on production, it won’t be too long before the series ends up on Disney Plus.

I would expect the show to be released at some point this year.

I’m hearing that the show should be released on Disney Plus towards Christmastime this year!

That would be an excellent Christmas present for Disney and Lucasfilm to give us!

There have been so many questions raised about what could happen in the show’s upcoming season after the events of The Book Of Boba Fett.

That show saw Grogu start his training with Luke Skywalker, only for the little guy to decide to go back with Din Djarin after Mando went to visit him and leave a little Mandalorian chain mail armour for protection.

It was a really important moment – I think – for Grogu’s future and that of the show as well.

There would be no The Mandalorian Season 3 without Grogu, and I can’t wait to see what the two of them do together in it.

They’ll also be going around the galaxy in a beautiful and nostalgic new ship, which is one of the best things these new Star Wars shows have taken from the prequels.

I’m pretty sure we’re going to see the return of Moff Gideon in Season 3 also, and I wouldn’t be surprised if they introduce Lars Mikkelsen’s Thrawn in it as well.
