The Mandalorian Season 3’s release date on Disney Plus has been revealed to be in February 2023, which isn’t too far away now.

This news was revealed by co-creators Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni onstage Thursday during a panel at Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim (via Deadline).

Favreau and Filoni also brought out onstage Katee Sackhoff, saying she is returning to the series in the pivotal role of Bo-Katan Kryze in the upcoming third season.

The people in attendance also going to see a pretty cool tease for The Mandalorian Season 3.

Favreau and Dave Filoni worked on the third season of the hit Star Wars show during the pandemic, while the company has been revving up other Star Wars series around it including The Book of Boba Fett and Obi-Wan Kenobi.

As for The Mandalorian, the series has been nominated for 39 Emmys including Best Drama Series and has won 14.

It sounds as though we’re going to get to hear more details on Sackhoff’s role in Season 3 on Satruday during a The Mandarlorian-focused panel.

I’m guessing that we might also get to hear something about a Bo Katan spinoff Star Wars show.

This upcoming panel will be headlined by Favreau and Filoni as well as “special guests.”

The panel which is called “Mando+ : A Conversation with Jon Favreau & Dave Filoni,” will feature a look back “and a look ahead at what’s to come.”
