It’s been revealed a new Hawkman Black Adam spinoff movie is in development over at Warner Bros. Pictures, which does come as a bit of a surprise to me. This news comes from Deadline. There has been a lot of DC Studios news over the past 24 hours. However, this is actually quite positive. Most of the news has been pretty negative, and I’m sure that there are many SnyderVerse fans out there who are really upset by everything they’re hearing.

This also comes after it was revealed that Black Adam actually lost a lot of money for Warner Bros. The movie is estimated to have lost the studio between $50 and $100 million, which is a pretty big chunk of money. That said, it seems as though the studio is still interested in making more of these movies. The fact that they are already planning a Hawkman spinoff movie is a pretty good indication that we’re also going to get a Black Adam sequel.

Aldis Hodge played the character in Black Adam, and I thought he was brilliant in the role. He went up against Dwayne Johnson, and I genuinely thought that his character ended up being much more interesting. I would also argue that Pierce Brosnan stole the show as Doctor Fate, and I’m hoping to see more of his character in the future, even though he sacrificed himself towards the end of the movie.

One of the big questions that people have is what’s happening with Henry Cavill’s Superman. He was teased in Black Adam’s post-credits scene, much to the joy of the fans. Cavill then took to Instagram to reveal that his cameo was only a very small taste of what’s to come. However, it’s now been reported that DC Studios’ new leads, James Gunn and Peter Safran, might not be moving forward with the Man Of Steel sequel. Fingers crossed they just have other plans for Cavill’s Superman.

There have also been reports that DC Studios is looking at the possibility of recasting the Justice League actors, which means that the likes of Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momo and Ray Fisher will all be recast. We’ve also heard reports that Cavill’s cameo in The Flash movie has been cut. Reports have also been suggesting that Ben Affleck’s Batman cameo in Aquaman 2 was cut from the film. It’s going to be interesting to see what the future holds.
