UPDATE: Marvel President revealed at this year’s Comic-Con that a new Daredevil series was coming, and it’s called Daredevil: Born Again. It’s still not clear whether this new series is going to be a reboot or a sort of Daredevil Season 4, but it’s all very exciting. Even if this show isn’t quite a Daredevil Season 4, we’re still interested in knowing when its release date will be.
There have been rumours about a Daredevil reboot, and we wanted to figure if Daredevil Season 4 was on the cards. If so, when could Daredevil Season 4’s release date be on Disney Plus? Let’s start off by addressing the elephant in the room: is a Daredevil reboot actually happening?
If so, will this be a ‘reboot’ or a continuation of the Netflix Daredevil show? Well, if the rumours are to be believed, then it could be a sort of combination of both.
What we’ve been hearing is that this Daredevil reboot will be a new show, but it’ll keep the same actors and have the same tone as the Netflix show. According to a recent report on Geekosity, this Daredevil reboot will be R-rated. That means that it’ll be just as violent as the Netflix show was.
Is Season 4 in the works?

Now, why have there been reports recently that a Daredevil reboot is in the works over at Marvel Studios? It all has to do with the fact that it was recently revealed that Disney has set up a new production company.
This company is called ‘Blind Faith Productions LLC, and who’s blind in the MCU? That’s right, Matt Murdock is, aka Daredevil.
This was followed up with the news that there is a Marvel Cinematic Universe project starring Charlie Cox that could start filming before the end of 2022.

All of this seems to be indicating that the reboot could end up being on Disney Plus in 2023 – 2024 at the latest. However, this isn’t the only confirmation we’ve had that Disney and Marvel Studios are working on a Daredevil reboot series.
Production Weekly has revealed that Marvel Studios is, in fact, working on a Daredevil-focused project. It’s all getting very real and very exciting.
It remains to be seen whether the likes of Krysten Ritter’s Jessica Jones and Jon Bernthal’s The Punisher will be returning in this series. This all comes after we revealed that Marvel Studios was working on a new series which will star Bernthal and Charlie Cox and it would be more mature than the other Disney Plus MCU shows.

This all comes after we saw Charlie Cox return as Matt Murdock in Spider-Man: No Way Home. It was a brilliant moment and fans of the Netflix Daredevil show couldn’t wait to see his version of the character return in the MCU.
Moreover, the star of the Netflix Daredevil show recently revealed that he thinks Marvel could do a PG-13 Daredevil show. However, he added that he wasn’t sure whether the character was really suited for PG-13.
Here’s what Cox had to say on the matter:
I wouldn’t put it past the folks at Marvel to be able to accomplish that, I’m such a fan of everything they’ve done so far, I wouldn’t underestimate them at all. So if they wanted to make a more PG version of Daredevil, I back them to find a way to do it where it feels totally in keeping with everything we’ve done. And maybe there’s a little less blood, maybe there’s a little whatever, but I back them to do it.
Who else could return for Daredevil Season 4?

So, it sounds like Charlie Cox will be returning for this future Daredevil show. However, what about the other actors of the original Netflix show? Will they also be returning? Well, it seems as though they will be.
Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Rosario Dawson, and Vincent D’Onofrio are all expected to return for this Daredevil reboot. We’ve already seen D’Onofrio return as the Kingpin in the recent Hawkeye show.
Now, Deborah Ann Woll recently revealed that she would love to return as Karen Page in the Daredevil reboot. Here’s what she had to say on the matter during a recent interview with Den Of Geek:
I loved playing Karen Page. I would gladly, in a heartbeat, pick Karen back up.
She added:
Should [Marvel Studios] call, I am here with open ears.
