It’s been revealed by Ms Marvel’s creator that the upcoming Daredevil series on Disney Plus will be lighter and more fun than the original series.

During an interview with Murphy’s Multiverse Ms Marvel’s co-creator and executive producer Sana Amanat revealed that the Disney Plus Daredevil reboot will be lighter and more fun than the Netflix show.

I don’t see why not! Mark Waid’s run was pretty seminal. We’ve never seen that kind of story and I love the spin on that and it was such an unexpected take on the character. In the same way, I wouldn’t be surprised if they did something like that in the MCU. Why not? We like to take risks and this is the fun part of exploring multiple stories. So maybe.

This will be very different to the Daredevil series that was on Netflix.

That show was very dark and pretty brutal and people really seemed to like that about the series.

However, it seems as though Disney and Marvel have other ideas for this new Daredevil reboot series.

This all comes after Charlie Cox made a cameo appearance as Matt Murdock in Spider-Man: No Way Home.

There have also been rumours that Krysten Ritter will be returning as Jessica Jones in a future MCU series.

Jon Bernthal and Mike Colter are also rumoured to be returning as their Marvel characters.
