Lucifer Season 5’s Showrunner Says They’re ‘Going To End This Show In Style’

Lucifer Season 5 is going to be the very last season of the show.

This is pretty difficult to come to terms with.

Lucifer has been in our lives since the first season aired on Fox back in 2016.

It then ran for three seasons on Fox until they cancelled it.

It looked like that was going to be it for the show we all loved.

When I say ‘we’, I mean us Lucifer fans.

But, we found out how powerful we can be by taking to Twitter and managing to get the hashtag ‘SaveLucifer’ trending.

This was what caught the eye of streaming giants, Netflix, and the company swooped in to save the show.

We then got Lucifer Season 4, which was incredible, and we’re about to get Season 5.

Lucifer Season 5 will be the show’s last

However, Netflix and the Lucifer team revealed that Season 5 would be the show’s last.

This was such a shame to hear, but we also heard from one of Lucifer’s showrunners, Joe Henderson, that they were going to get to finish the show on their terms.

This meant that they were going to get to tell the story they wanted to tell.

The fact that they’ve been allowed to make a further two seasons on Lucifer means that they’ll be able to finish the story how they always intended to.

Anyway, Lucifer’s co-showrunner, Henderson, took to Twitter earlier to reveal that they’re beginning work on Season 5’s finale.

However, he also revealed that they are going to end the show “in style”.

Here’s what he had to say about Lucifer Season 5’s ending and finale.

Today we started breaking the final episode of #Lucifer. Still plenty of work to do… but holy shit, we are going to end this show in style.

Honestly, this is great news and I cannot wait to see what they have in store for us.

I’m sure that plenty of you fellow Lucifer fans out there will also be eager to see how it all ends.

What do you think of Lucifer ending after just five seasons? Are you looking forward to the final season?
