Lucifer Season 5 might end up seeing a big showdown between Tom Ellis’ Lucifer and Dennis Haysbert’s God.
There have been rumours that this final season which is going be airing on Netflix later this year could see God try to enact Judgement Day.
One fan posted this theory on Reddit and claimed that Lucifer will try to stop God from going through with his plan.
Redditor Carltheman (via The Express Online) suggested: “God comes to Earth to tell Lucifer Judgment Day is going to happen soon.
“The rest of the season is about Lucifer preventing it.”
This would be a really interesting premise to start Lucifer Season 5 off with.
Lucifer Season 4 started off with something similar where it was revealed that there was a prophecy to do with his first love, Chloe Decker (Lauren German).
Lucifer Season 5 could see God enact Judgement Day
It all finished off with Lucifer going back to Hell to reclaim his throne.
Season 4 ended with a devil rebellion and they kidnapped Amenadiel (B.D. Woodside) and Linda Martin’s (Rachael Harris) newborn son, Charlie.
The devils thought that Charlie could become the ruler of Hell, but Lucifer was having none of it.
Lucifer Season 5 will undoubtedly end in a huge and dramatic finale and it could see some sort of confrontation between Lucifer and God.
What do you make of this news? Would you like to see Lucifer try to prevent God’s Judgement Day in Lucifer Season 5?
