Liam Neeson has revealed that he would love to return to the Star Wars universe as Jedi Master, Qui-Gon Jinn, but there’s a catch.

Neeson revealed this during a recent interview with ComicBook.com.

During the interview, Neeson revealed that he would love to play Qui-Gon Jinn, but only in a movie, not a TV show.

Here’s what Neeson had to say about returning as Qui-Gon:

Oh, I think so, yeah, yeah, yeah, I think so … if it was a film. Yeah, I’m a bit of a snob when it comes to TV, I must admit, I just like the big screen, you know? Qui-Gon, I can’t believe it’s 24 years since we made [Star Wars:] The Phantom Menace, I just cannot believe where the time has gone. It was a terrific experience, shooting that film in London.

Could Liam Neeson be returning as Qui-Gon Jinn?

Neeson’s comments here are very interesting because we were told a while back that Neeson was going to be returning as Qui-Gon in the Kenobi series.

Notice that Neeson specifically said that he would rather return as the Jedi Master in a movie, not a TV series.

Honestly, this sounds a bit odd to me because the stigma around TV that used to be very prominent in Hollywood is now gone.

Everybody’s got a price, and I’m pretty sure that Disney would have offered Neeson enough money to make a return as Qui-Gon Jinn in a TV series impossible to say no to.
