Qui-Gon Jinn’s Cameo In Obi-Wan Kenobi Series Teased

It seems as though a new Star Wars book, called Skywalker: A Family at War, might have teased Qui-Gon Jinn’s cameo in the Obi-Wan Kenobi series.

The Direct recently highlighted a passage in that book which seems to be hinting at Qui-Gon Jinn’s return in the upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi series.

The series will be landing on Disney Plus and they’ve already announced the series’ cast.

Liam Neeson wasn’t on that cast list, but his cameo will be a closely guarded secret at Lucasfilm HQ.

We did report that Liam Neeson would be returning as the Jedi Knight in the upcoming Kenobi series.

We were informed that he would be coming back as a Force Ghost in the series.

Here’s the passage in Skywalker: A Family at War that has led people to believe that Qui-Gon will be cameoing in the Kenobi Disney Plus series:

Before he and Yoda had parted ways, the old Jedi revealed that Obi-Wan’s beloved master Qui-Gon Jinn had returned from the netherworld of the Force, manifesting his conscious mind even after death. It took 10 years, but eventually, Obi-Wan was able to commune with his dearest friend, resurrected within the cosmic Force.

So, it seems as though it took Qui-Gon ten years to become a Force Ghost.

Therefore it would make sense for Obi-Wan’s first chat with him after Jinn’s death to be in the upcoming series.
