Liam Neeson Reveals He’d Love To Play Qui-Gon Jinn In The Obi-Wan Kenobi Series

Liam Neeson has revealed that he would love to play his Star Wars character, Qui-Gon Jinn in the Obi-Wan Kenobi series on Disney Plus. He revealed this during an interview with Collider.

There’s been a lot of rumours out there about the Kenobi series which is currently filming in the UK. It’ll see Ewan McGreggor return as Obi-Wan Kenobi which is pretty exciting.

However, there have been a lot of people suggesting that Qui-Gon Jinn is going to appear in the show in a flashback sequence, which would be kind of interesting if a little redundant.

During the interview, Neeson asked Collider whether “Star Wars [is] starting to fade away from [the] cinema landscape”. They told him that it wasn’t, and then told him about the big projects Lucasfilm had lined up for the future of Star Wars: movies and TV shows.

One of those shows is the Obi-Wan Kenobi series which is coming to Disney Plus and will see both Ewan McGreggor and Hayden Christensen return as Kenobi and Darth Vader. So, Collider then asked him whether he’d be game to appear in a flashback in Obi-Wan Kenobi as Qui-Gon. Neeson then smiled and answered, “Sure, I’d be up for that, yeah.”
