Johnny Depp Reportedly Cast In Beetlejuice 2

It’s being reported by multiple sources that Johnny Depp has been cast in the upcoming Beetlejuice sequel (Beetlejuice 2), which would be good casting in my book.

Now, before we get into the weeds of this story, I have to make it clear that we haven’t been able to corroborate these reports.

That said, it doesn’t mean that they are not valid.

It just means that I haven’t had any responses from Johnny Depp’s representation or some of our sources in the industry.

I will update this article as soon as we get any word back on these rumours.

So, this story seems to mainly come from a Google cast listing for Beetlejuice 2.

Now, these cast listings have been proven to be wrong in the past.

However, they have also proven to be correct in some cases, such as for Spider-Man: No Way Home when Google listed that both Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire were in the movie’s cast.

Johnny Depp, Michael Keaton and Winona Ryder might all be in Beetlejuice 2

Even so, fans have taken to Twitter to celebrate Johnny Depp being cast in such an exciting project.

The movie is moving forward with Brad Pitt’s movie studio, Plan B, but it’s not clear whether Tim Burton will return to direct.

It has been reported that Michael Keaton will be returning as Beetlejuice and we’d love to see Winona Ryder return for the sequel also.

The movie is currently slated for a June 2025 release, so there’s still lots of time before the movie will go into production.

At the moment, the film is in post-production and they could be writing the movie’s script.

But, nothing on that front has been confirmed as of yet.

Seth Grahame-Smith and David Katzenberg have written early versions of the script, but it’s still not known whether they’ll use any of that for the actual movie.
