Doctor Who Season 12 Won’t See Captain Jack Return Reveals Showrunner
The latest episode of Doctor Who Season 12 featured the return of John Barrowman as Captain Jack and fans were really happy to see him back on the show.
This then led to a lot of people wondering whether Captain Jack will turn up again in Doctor Who Season 12.
However, it looks like we might not get to see him return.
Doctor Who’s showrunner, Chris Chibnail, was chatting to The Mirror Online.
The showrunner was asked whether the handsome Captain would be back in Season 12.
His response was a pretty categorical no.
You won’t see him again this series, I can categorically tell you that.
However, that doesn’t mean Captain Jack won’t be back in a future season of the show.
The showrunner teased that John Barrowman’s character could come back in a future season of Doctor Who.
But who knows when he might pop up again? We love Captain Jack, we love John Barrowman. I hope that won’t be his last appearance and that at some point he gets to meet the 13th Doctor.
Nope. Captain Jack won’t be returning in Doctor Who Season 12
However, Chibnail could just be teasing us all and we will all be even more surprised when Captain Jack turns up in the season finale.
That would be a fun twist in a season of Doctor Who which hasn’t been overly well received by fans of the show.
It currently stands at 16 per cent on Rotten Tomatoes, which is not good at all.
Hopefully, the next five episodes of the show will pick up.
Fans certainly seemed pleased with the latest episode, called Fugitive of the Judoon.
The episode currently has 100 per cent on the popular reviews aggregator site.
