Fans of The Umbrella Academy, a club which I am proudly a member of – have been really looking forward to seeing Season 2 drop on Netflix, and it’s looking like that might not be too far off now.
The show, which first aired on Netflix last year, captured the hearts and minds of viewers across the globe, and people have been desperate to see how the members of the Umbrella Academy will be able to prevent the oncoming Apocalypse.
It’s a really good show, and if you haven’t seen it yet, I highly recommend you go and binge-watch it before Season 2 lands on the streaming service.
Anyway, the show’s cast and crew have been hard at work over the past few months filming the second season, and one of the show’s stars, Tom Hopper, took to Instagram to reveal that Season 2 of The Umbrella Academy had finished filming.
This means that they are now starting to edit the series, and hopefully, we’ll be seeing Season 2 dropping on Netflix sooner rather than later.
Here’s what Tom, who plays Luther in The Umbrella Academy, had to say about filming the show on his Instagram account.
Sounds like Tom Hopper had a great time on The Umbrella Academy’s set
He said: “When a tall man and a giant man stand either side of…well..Sammy.
“Our crew on @umbrellaacad are some of the hardest working I’ve ever come across. They work insane hours to help make the show what it is.”
He added: “We are two days away from the end of shooting season 2, and this crew have done us immensely proud. We can’t thank you enough for the hard work you all put in.
“Round of applause for all the guys like these two who are the real family of superhero’s behind #umbrellaacademy,” he finished.
You can check out his post for yourselves in which he thanks all the people working on the show behind the scenes.
