The Falcon And The Winter Soldier Setting Up Luke Cage

It’s being reported that The Falcon And The Winter Soldier is actually setting up Luke Cage’s first MCU appearance.

This report comes from our good friends over at Geekosity, and they are pretty much spot on with their scoops.

According to Mikey Sutton (the owner and Editor of Geekosity), The Falcon And The Winter Soldier series will plant the seeds of Luke Cage’s MCU reboot.

This is something that we’ve been hearing for quite some time now, and Mikey’s come out and made it official.

We’ve been hearing that Marvel Studios has been planning on bringing Luke Cage over to the MCU.

Cage was played by Mike Colter in the Netflix shows, and we were told that Kevin Feige is interested in having him play the character again.

Here’s what Mikey had to say about the whole thing:

Apparently, Luke Cage’s new origin for Marvel Studios will be connected somewhat to Bradley’s in the utilization of the super-soldier serum.

Mikey is referring to Isaiah Bradley who was first seen in the MCU in the second episode of The Falcon And The Winter Soldier.

He was kind of the secret black version of Captain America.

Bradley worked for the U.S. government during the Korean War.

He was actually given the super-soldier serum that helped turn Steve Rogers into Captain America in the first place.

However, it all went wrong for Isaiah as he was betrayed by the US government.

Yet, it looks like Luke Cage and Isaiah will be connected in the MCU.
