Sebastian Stan Wants Mark Hamill To Ask Him To Play Luke Skywalker

Sebastian Stan has revealed that he wants Mark Hamill to call him and ask him to play Luke Skywalker before he’ll ever agree to playing the role.

Stan revealed this during a recent interview with Good Morning America.

There have been calls for as long as I can remember for Sebastian Stan to play Luke Skywalker in live-action.

These calls only became louder and more prominent after Luke Skywalker’s recent cameo in The Mandalorian Season 2.

People – myself included – loved the cameo, but the CGI was a bit janky.

They opted to go for a CGI version of Luke in the show rather than go for casting an actual actor in the role.

An actor did play the body of Luke in the scene, yet they replaced the actor’s face using some pretty clever tech.

However, you can always tell and the uncanny valley-vibes were there for all to see.

People then took to social media saying that they should have just got Stan to play the role.

I completely agree with them.

It’s always better to get an actor to play a role rather than using CGI.

Here’s what Stan had to say when he was asked about playing Luke Skywalker in live-action in a future Star Wars show:

If Mark Hamill called me, personally, to tell me he feels inclined to share this role with me, then I will believe it. Until then, I won’t believe it.

Well, Mark’s got to get on the phone and call Sebastian Stan straight away.

I’m pretty sure he’s open to the idea.

He’s joked about Sebastian Stan looking like a younger version of him for a while now.

Let’s get the ball rolling on this one!
