Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Is Coming To Disney Plus On May 4th

It’s been revealed that Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will be coming to Disney Plus on May 4th, 2020, which is very soon indeed.

This news comes via ComicBook.com who reported that the final J.J. Abrams Star Wars movies is going to be coming to Disney’s new streaming platform sooner than we thought.

They revealed that this year Star Wars Day (May 4th) will be a pretty big deal on Disney Plus.

Not only will they be releasing The Rise of Skywalker on the streaming platform, but they’ll also release the finale of Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 7.

We knew that The Rise of Skywalker would be making its way to Disney Plus eventually, we just didn’t know when.

We already knew that people have been watching the movie in their droves online.

It was revealed that The Rise of Skywalker was the most watched movie on demand during lockdown.

This means a record number of people have purchased the movie or rented it via multiple streaming platforms.

That’s good news for the movie, and now Disney Plus subscribers will be able to watch the movie for free on the streaming platform.

I am very glad I didn’t buy the movie before finding this out.
