Wednesday Season 2 is coming to Netflix, and the cast is looking super stacked! Theyv’e just added one of the main stars from HBO’s Westword series, Thandiwe Newton.

This news comes to us via Variety.

Thandiwe isn’t just one of the stars of Westworld – she’s also an incredible actress and has proven that fact time and time again.

We’ve already heard that Netflix has cast Steve Buscemi to the cast, which was incredible news. He’s a terrific actor, and casting him alongside Newton is a real demonstration that Netflix means business for Wednesday’s second season.

I can’t wait to see who else they end up casting in this upcoming season because if these two announcements are anything to go by, the cast is going to be huge.

The first season was already incredibly impressive. Jenna Ortega, Gwendoline Christie, Christina Ricci, Luis Guzmán, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Fred Armisen. Now that’s an incredible cast.

We’re now going to add Steve Buscemi and Thandiwe Newton to that list! I mean, we’re losing Christie, which is such a shame because she’s brilliant, but we’re getting two terrifically talented actors for Season 2.

The series was created by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar. Tim Burton acted as an executive producer and directed the first four episodes of the show’s first season.

Gough and Millar also serve as co-showrunners and executive producers.
