Spider-Man: No Way Home Could Be Delayed To 2022

It seems as though Sony Pictures might be thinking of delaying Spider-Man: No Way Home’s release till 2022, which I really hope is not true.

This rumour has come from Grace Randolph who posted on Twitter that there’s a “very strong chance” of Spider-Man: No Way Home’s release date being delayed.

Check out what she had to say in her tweet below.

Here’s what Randolph had to say:

I’ll tell you something else I’m hearing… There’s a VERY strong chance #Venom2 & #SpiderManNoWayHome will move. And Spidey could get #DoctorStrange2 March 2022 date. We should find out sometime in the next month or so…

It’s being rumoured that Spider-Man: No Way Home’s release date could be pushed to 2022

There is something I have to say about this, Sony Pictures did say that Venom 2 isn’t going to be delayed.

That said, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Sony opted to push their upcoming movies’ release dates.

There have been rising COVID-19 cases, especially in the United States.

With that in mind, there could end up being yet another lockdown in certain areas.

Sony wants to make sure that its movies make as much money as possible at the box office.

It’ll be interesting to see what happens.

As it stands, Spider-Man: No Way Home release date is December 17th this year.

That said, if there are too many COVID-19 cases and there’s another lockdown, Sony will have to push the release date.
