There have been a bunch of rumours that Charlie Cox is going to be in Spider-Man: No Way Home as Matt Murdock.
When the trailer was finally released, people thought they spotted Cox’s Murdock in said trailer.
It was the moment when Peter was being questioned by detectives.
In the scene, a man in a white shirt slams a load of documents on the desk in front of Peter.
People thought that this guy could be Murdock because he’s wearing a white shirt and also has his sleeves rolled up the same way Matt Murdock did in the Netflix Daredevil show.
However, the actor has since come out and told ComicBook that he was not in the Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer.
That wasn’t Charlie Cox in the Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer, says Charlie Cox…
Here’s what he had to say when he was asked if he was in the trailer or not:
I can promise you those are not my forearms.
So, I actually talked about this moment in the trailer in a recent Spider-Man: No Way Hone theories and predictions video.
You can watch the video above or click here and check it out over on YouTube.
What I said was that the individual in the trailer did seem a bit too thick around the waist to be Charlie Cox.
That said, this doesn’t mean I don’t think that he’ll be in the movie.
I’m actually pretty sure he will be in it, and he will be defending Peter in court.
