Obi-Wan-Kenobi-Season-2-Isn’t-Something-That-All-Fans-Want

It’s been revealed that not all Star Wars fans on the Internet like the idea of Lucasfilm making an Obi-Wan Kenobi Season 2.

The first season of Obi-Wan Kenobi has just ended and it seems as though there are plans inside Lucasfilm to make a second season.

However, not all fans think that this would be a wise thing to do on Lucasfilm’s behalf.

It does seem as though most – not all – Star Wars fans liked the first season of the show enough.

However, in a discussion on r/StarWars, one topic says this would be the smart place to leave things alone.

Am I the only one that DOESN’T want a Kenobi season 2? from StarWars

Interestingly enough, most of the replies to this Redditor’s post are in agreement.

It really does seem as though fans of the galaxy far, far away believe that they are already walking a narrative tightrope with Kenobi.

Many fans feel that the writers are squeezing in battles between Kenobi and Darth Vader at this point.

Some people even pointed out that this could end up messing with Star Wars: A New Hope’s story and also the saga’s overall timeline.

Less is often more and it seems as though this is what a large number of Star Wars fans believe when it comes to Obi-Wan Kenobi.

However, there are some fans that actually think the opposite.

There are quite a few years remaining between the end of Obi-Wan Kenobi’s first season and the beginning of A New Hope.

Moreover, when [SPOILERS] Qui-Gon Jinn turned up at the very end of the series, he says that they have a lot of work to do.

Sounds like me like there are more stories involving Kenobi being planned behind the scenes.

I would also like to see more of Hayden Christensen’s Vader, and I think there’s a lot of room for some interesting stories to be told with that character.

Both Ewen McGregor and Hayden Christensen have admitted that they would love to return for more.
