Marvel’s Blade To Be Pushed Into The MCU’s Phase 6

It’s been revealed to us that Marvel’s upcoming Blade movie will likely be pushed into the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s (MCU) Phase 6. This comes after the movie’s been in all sorts of trouble behind the scenes.

It has been revealed to us by sources close to the project that the Blade movie is back on track, which is good to hear. Before now, the project was, as our source called it, “a hot mess”.

The movie lost its original director after Bassam Tariq left the project due to “creative differences” with Marvel Studios’ higher-ups. Marvel then went to Yann Demange.

It seems as though bringing Demange in to helm the project has been a very clever move on Marvel’s behalf. We were told by our sources that the movie’s star, Mahershala Ali, is much more positive now, and he and Demanger are very much seeing “eye to eye” with where this project should go and the overall tone of the movie.

However, there is some pretty annoying news as far as the Blade movie is concerned. It had been announced by Marvel Studios that the movie would be released in Marvel’s Phase 5.

They actually announced that the movie was going to be released in cinemas on September 6th, 2024. However, we’ve been informed that Marvel Studios is now looking at pushing the movie’s release date back.

We were informed that the movie is now slated to be released in Marvel’s Phase 6. I’ve also been told that the film is now set to be released after Matt Shakman’s Fantastic Four, which is quite a bit of a delay.

The Fantastic Four movie is slated for release on February 14th, 2025, so it seems as though the MCU’s Blade movie will be released after that date.

One of the questions I had, and still have, is whether this Blade movie is in danger of being cancelled altogether. As far as my sources are concerned, the film is still very much alive.

I was informed that Yann Demange is seen as a very safe pair of hands, and the fact that Ali is no longer as frustrated with the project as he had been is a very good sign.

It had previously been reported that the movie’s script was a mess and needed a lot of work.

There were reports that scriptwriters just couldn’t seem to crack the film, but something’s changed internally at Marvel Studios, and it seems as though the shackles are now off as far as this upcoming project is concerned.

I have a feeling as though Marvel didn’t really want this movie to be too violent and too bloody. However, given the source material, that wouldn’t be possible.

The bloodiest and most violent Marvel Studios movie ever made

This Blade movie is going to have to be bloody and violent. It’s about a vampire hunter for heaven’s sake! You can’t make a movie about hunting vampires without blood and violence!

So, it sounds as though Marvel’s approach to this movie has changed. Does this mean that the movie will be ‘R-rated’? Well, I’m not sure. My sources weren’t able to confirm whether Marvel had agreed to make the movie R-rated or not.

However, they were able to say that Marvel Studios would make this movie their “bloodiest movie ever”. That will be very hard to do, but it’s good to hear.

Marvel needs to start exploring different genres in order to survive. They need to push the proverbial boat out, and Blade can let them do that. Let’s hope they don’t mess it up!
