Harley Quinn star Margot Robbie could be the new Sue Storm in Marvel’s Fantastic Four. Casting for the premier MCU Phase Six film seems to be in full gear now since we keep hearing about it.

Then again the casting news has been around ever since it was announced that Marvel will be making a new Fantastic Four film. Marvel’s first family is set to premier MCU’s Phase 6. Now that Phase 5 is already in full production, Phase 6 is now starting to get its engines running.

Just a few days ago there were reports that say that Antonio Banderas is in talks to be the main villain of the film as Galactus. And for the past months now we’ve been hearing reports of possible candidates like Adam Driver, Penn Badgley, Dev Patel as Reed Richards. Paul Meskas who will be starring in Gladiator 2 is said to be in the running to be the Human Torch.

Sue Storm has lots of possible prospects from Vanessa Kirby, Allison Williams, and Jodie Comer. Mila Kunis who was presumed to be in talks for role said that she’s not in the running, but she knows who is. Now, it seems that reports will be adding another, but this time one who is a DC star.

Industry insider Daniel RPK (via Murphy’s Multiverse) said that Margot Robbie has been offered the role of the Invisible Woman, Susan Storm. This seems to be an interesting choice considering that the Barbie actress can be seen all over lately.

The actress is also known for her portrayal of Harley Quinn in Warner Bros’ DCEU. So far, she has played the role three times which includes Suicide Squad (2016), Birds of Prey (2020) and The Suicide Squad (2021). She has been iconic in representing the character. To the point that her look in the movies was translated in the comics and into the animated series. Actually, she was one of the best things that came out of the DCEU.

Choosing a Sue Storm is critical to the film. While Marvel needs to find a good ensemble of actors to portray the characters, Sue is the one that holds the team together. She is the wife of Reed Richards (aka Mister Fantastic), the sister of Johnny Storm (aka The Human Torch), and a friend to Ben Grimm (The Thing).

Another question is that is Margot Robbie willing to commit her time to another long comic book franchise? So far, her DC stint hasn’t been confirmed to be cancelled. As far as we know, she could still show up in James Gunn’s new DC Universe.
