Invincible Season 2 ‘Late 2023’ Release Date Revealed

Invincible Season 2 Release Date On Prime Video Revealed

Invincible Season 2 is coming and its release date has been revealed via a new incredible season 2 announcement trailer. In this trailer, which was released on YouTube, Invincible himself (voiced by Steven Yuen) and Allen The Alien (voiced by Seth Rogan) talk about when the second season is going to be released on Prime Video.

This was when Invincible – aka Mark Grayson – revealed that Invincible Season 2 is going to be released in ‘late 2023’. So, what does this mean? Well, it seems as though the second season is going to be released on Prime Video between the months of October to December 2023.

Honestly, this announcement trailer is so good! It’s not a bunch of clips taken from the upcoming season of the show. Instead, the people behind the series decided to make something completely unique.

It’s a scene that they created just for this announcement trailer, and in the scene, they poke fun at the fact that it’s been so long since we have heard any news about the show’s second season.

The first season was really something special. It was probably one of the best comic book shows ever released. It’s pretty interesting that the two best comic book shows ever made are both on Prime Video: Invincible and The Boys.

We were actually told a while back that the show’s second season was going to be released in late 2023. So, it seems as though our source was pretty much spot on.

One of the questions I’m sure that many of you will have is why it has taken so long to get the show’s second season. The first season was released on Prime Video back in 2021. It’s now 2023 and we still haven’t got the second season.

I mean, it’s an animated series, and they don’t take all that long to make, right!? That’s what a lot of people on the Internet were saying. However, they are pretty wrong.

Animation takes an awfully long time, and making an animated series is not a fast process. It’s especially not fast if you want it actually to be any good, and Amazon is very keen on making this show a huge success.

When could the show’s exact release date be?

The first season was really well received by both critics and Prime Video subscribers. People loved the show, and the comic book community really gravitated towards it.

The show is based on a comic book series written by The Walking Dead’s Robert Kirkman and artists Cory Walker and Ryan Ottley.

Both the comics and animated series follow Mark Grayson, voiced by Steven Yuen, a teenage superhero whose powers stem from the fact that he is only half human and half Viltrumite.

In Season 1, Mark faces off against his father, the virtually invulnerable Omni-Man, voiced by J.K Simmons, a champion of Viltrum who originally came to Earth to conquer.

Even though Invincible Season 2 hasn’t been released yet, it’s already been confirmed by one of the show’s voice actors that the third season is in development. Khary Payton confirmed that Season 3 is already in the works.

However, he also added that it might be a while before the third season is released. Here’s what Payton has to say on the matter:

I am so glad they greenlit [Seasons] 2 and 3 at the same time because that means that when three comes out, it’ll feel like just next season and not like a lifetime… But, yeah, it’s gonna take a while. I wish I could say otherwise. But I’ve done enough animation to know that… to get it right, you’re drawing every panel, you know?

Invincible Season 2 will be released on Prime Video in late 2023!
