Dwayne Johnson’s Fight With WarnerMedia To Restore The SnyderVerse

A lot of people have been asking me if there’s any hope to Restore The SnyderVerse at WarnerMedia, and let me tell you, there is. He’s called Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.

As Aaron Eckhart’s Harvey Dent once said: “The night is darkest before the dawn”, and I’m thinking that the dawn isn’t too far off now.

It seems as though the dawn is coming in the form of The Rock, aka Dwayne Johnson.

Now, I know many of you have heard this before, but I wanted to explain to you what’s going on inside WarnerMedia and what Johnson is pushing for.

Dwayne Johnson is easily one of the biggest names in Hollywood right now.

It was a huge coup for WarnerMedia and Warner Bros. Pictures when they managed to secure him as their Black Adam.

However, Johnson was originally cast as Black Adam back in September 2014, and we still haven’t seen the actual movie yet.

It was revealed the other day by Johnson himself that Black Adam’s new release date is July 29th, 2022.

He revealed this new release date via his Instagram account, and added the following caption:

A disruptive and unstoppable global force of a message from the man in black himself. BLACK ADAM is coming July 29, 2022. The hierarchy of power in the DC Universe is about to change.

Right, so we have a release date now, which is great.

There’s also an interesting bit in that caption. “The hierarchy of power in the DC Universe is about to change.”

Restore The SnyderVerse.

This is hinting at what might happen in the movie.

Black Adam has been portrayed as both a villain and an anti-hero in the comics.

I’ve been hearing that Dwayne Johnson’s version of the character will lean more on the side of the anti-hero in his movie.

The film is going to be directed by Jaume Collet-Serra and they already have a very impressive cast of the movie.

The Black Adam movie will bring in the Justice Society of America into the DCEU with Noah Centineo, Aldis Hodge, Quintessa Swindell and Pierce Brosnan cast.

Their roles, respectively are Atom Smasher, Hawkman, Cyclone and Doctor Fate.

Marwan Kenzari was also cast in the movie, however, we’re unaware of which role he’s going to be playing in the Black Adam film.

Yet, there’s one name that Dwayne Johnson really wants in the film, and that’s Henry Cavill.

I’ve been told – and this has been previously reported by other outlets – that Johnson is very keen on the idea of having Henry Cavill play Superman in the movie.

He’s a big fan of the British actor and loves his take on Superman.

He’s also a big fan of the Zack Snyder movies – especially Zack Snyder’s Justice League.

I was told that Johnson, “Loved Snyder’s Justice League. He sat down, watched all four hours of the film.”

Dwayne Johnson texted his team and said: We need Henry in our movie. We need the SnyderVerse.

However, this isn’t all.

There’s more.

According to people I’ve been talking to a lot over the past few days, months and years, Johnson has been talking to the higher-ups at WarnerMedia about the SnyderVerse.

He’s very much on the #RestoreTheSnyderVerse side of things.

He feels that his version of Black Adam will only be properly served should the SnyderVerse still be a thing.

Johnson loved the movie, but he also loved all the actors involved – we know he’s a fan of Cavill’s, but he’s also a big fan of Ben Affleck’s Batman, Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman, Ray Fisher’s Cyborg, Ezra Miller’s The Flash, Jason Momoa’s Aquaman, and I was even told that he’s always been a big fan of Jeremy Iron’s.

One of my sources even told me that he wants to specifically have a scene with Jeremy Irons in the DCEU as Alfred.

I explained in a previous article that there are two factions within the higher-ups at WarnerMedia.

There’s Team SnyderVerse and then there’s Team HamadaVerse.

I’ve been told that Dwayne Johnson has contacted a number of executives at WarnerMedia and expressed his interest in keeping the SnyderVerse alive.

This is huge because Dwayne Johnson is one of the biggest actors in Hollywood.

If there’s any actor who can pull some strings, it’s The Rock.

He can do more than pull them really.

Have you seen his muscles?!

This could be the thing that we’ve been hoping for.

There are a lot of supporters of the SnyderVerse inside WarnerMedia.

Yet, having someone like Johnson on Zack Snyder’s side would be very beneficial to the movement.

One thing I wasn’t told was whether Johnson has any intentions of going straight to AT&T about this.

I’m sure he and WarnerMedia would rather keep them out of this for the time being.

The SnyderVerse is important for future Black Adam movies

Even though Black Adam is going to be the start of something new in the DCEU, Johnson is very much aware of the benefits of keeping the SnyderVerse alive for future Black Adam movies.

He knows the power of big names, and the SnyderVerse is full of them.

He understands the importance of remaining on the side of fans.

Johnson also knows how to really revitalise a franchise (they call him franchise Viagra for a reason) and turn them into huge money-making machines.

The question now is what happens behind closed doors at the round table.

My perspective on this situation has always been a realistic one and it wasn’t looking good for a while.

This news certainly has given me the hope I needed to carry on the fight.

I would love if they would bring back the SnyderVerse but I’m still gonna watch all these other movies because I am a DC fan at heart even if Zack Snyder does not return but I’m hopeful that he will return

Have your say...
