There have been rumours that Charlie Cox would be returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) as Daredevil for quite some time now.
People have been clamouring to see him return as the character since he did such an incredible job in the Netflix Marvel TV shows, and he’s genuinely perfect in the role.
It seems that his arrival to the MCU as Daredevil may have been confirmed by We Got This Covered.
Their source told them that Cox’s return as Matt Murdock, a.k.a. Daredevil, is “as good as confirmed”, which is excellent news if their source is indeed correct.
We Got This Covered’s article also claims that Kevin Feige is very keen on bringing Cox over to the MCU, and it’s pretty understandable given how good he is in the role.
This comes after it was revealed that Jon Bernthal may also be coming to the MCU as The Punisher given how perfect he was in the Netflix Marvel TV show.
Is Charlie Cox returning as Daredevil in the MCU? We hope so!
All of this makes sense because those shows were perfectly cast and the actors deserve to be seen in the cinematic universe.
It wouldn’t make any sense for them to recast them, and technically, Netflix’s Marvel TV shows were considered canon, which means that it would be rather jarring to have another actor turn up as Daredevil or the Punisher.
I’d love to see Daredevil and The Punisher in the MCU and have then run shoulders with the likes of Captain Marvel, Spider-Man and Thor.
It would just be so perfect and the actors are all very talented and I just know that it would be very much appreciated by the fans who invested so much time into watching all the Marvel Netflix TV shows.
