Well, well, well. It seems as though Amber Heard’s screentime as Mera in Aquaman 2 (Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom) has been cut to just 10 minutes.

This has been reported by YouTuber Grace Randolph and she’s claiming that it’s because of the current Johnny Depp defamation trial that’s currently going on.

Randolph took to Twitter to say the following about Heard’s screentime in Aquaman 2:

I hear #AmberHeard has less than 10 min of screentime in #Aquaman2

This would be very interesting because there have been millions of fans desperately trying to convince Warner Bros to remove Heard from the movie entirely.

A fan petition on Change.org calling for Warner Bros to remove Amber Heard from Aquaman 2 has just passed 2 million signatures.

Maybe the studio is finally listening and have realised that they can’t be connected to the actress any longer.

The movie wrapped production back in January and that was celebration by director James Wan who posted a congratulatory Instagram post with Jason Momoa and Patrick Wilson.

Interestingly enough, Amber Heard was absent from the post and she was not in the image.

Heard’s Mera was a big part of the first movie, but it sounds as though she won’t be playing a big part in the sequel.

This all comes after DC Films President, Walter Hamada revealed during a deposition for the Johnny Depp defamation trial that he wanted her removed from the movie entirely.

Apparently, he and many people involved in the movie were worried because of Heard’s lack of chemistry with Jason Momoa on-screen.

Hamada revealed that he wanted the actress removed from the project, but executives above him decided that she should stay.

However, they did not offer her the same pay raise that Momoa got for the sequel.
