Over the past few weeks, there’s been a noticeable surge in the number of people signing this petition.
I remember when the petition hadn’t passed 100K, and then there was a huge jump in the number of people signing it.
I think the main reason why people have felt so strongly that Heard should play Mera in Aquaman 2 is all the evidence that’s come out against here in the past few weeks.
Amber Heard had previously claimed that she was a victim of domestic abuse while she was married to Johnny Depp.
She went on in public with bruises on her face and she claimed that he was abused during their time together.
However, it looks like things might have been the other way around.
There have been recordings leaked of the two of them, and they make it quite clear who was abusing who.
Then there have been the court documents which paint a very bad picture for the Aquaman actress.
Should Amber Heard be removed from Aquaman 2?
She reportedly defecated on Johnny Depp’s bed. Heard cut his finger in two. She also threw a tin of paint at his face.
Many people have since come out in support of Johnny Depp including the likes of Penelope Cruz, Winona Ryder and Javier Bardem.
More and more people now believe that Amber Heard shouldn’t be allowed to play Mera in Aquaman 2.
These people are now flocking to this petition which has now got over 395K signatures.
It’s getting very close to reaching 400K and that would be too many signatures for Warner Bros. Pictures to ignore.
People feel very strongly about this, and so they should.
If Amber Heard is proven to have been lying about being a victim of domestic abuse, then it really puts people who are or have been victims in a terrible position.
This is something that needs to be sorted out very soon and I don’t think people should take this case lightly.
What do you make of all of this?
Do you think Amber Heard should be removed from Aquaman 2?
