It’s being reported that Marvel Studios is looking at casting Keke Palmer in a big role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), which sounds very interesting. This news comes to us via DanielRPK—aka Daniel Richtman. Richtman is an industry scooper who has a very good track record when it comes to his scoops.
As far as Keke Palmer’s concerned, I actually think she’s shown that she’s a very talented actress. She was wonderful in Jordan Peele’s 2022 movie, Nope. She starred in that film alongside Daniel Kaluuya, and I was really impressed by both of them in the film. Before watching her in Nope, I only saw her in 2019’s Hustlers, and I actually really enjoyed that movie.
However, I haven’t seen her in anything else, which is on me. I’ve looked at her IMDb page, and she’s been in so many great movies and TV shows that I just haven’t had the time to watch.

OK, back to Palmer and which role she could be playing in the MCU. There have been rumours for quite some time suggesting that Marvel is very interested in casting her as Rogue in an upcoming X-Men movie. As far as I’m concerned, I think that would be excellent casting.
She’s got the chops to play the role, and I think she could look really good in the part. However, I’m not sure whether that’s the role that Marvel Studios might have in mind for her. We’re just going to have to wait and see.

Palmer was asked during an interview with ComicBook.com whether Marvel had formally approached her to portray Rogue. Here’s what she had to say on the matter:
That’s confidential, sugar. No, I’m kidding. I don’t know. I just know that the fans, the way that the fans have me booked, honey, online, I got to do a gig every week. So if we’re adding Marvel to it, hey, let’s do it. I’m ready for Rogue.
Palmer then brilliantly leaned into the rumours by cosplaying as Rogue the following Halloween. That was just wonderful!
