Zack Snyder’s Twitter GOAT Emoji Was Faked

It’s been revealed to us that the supposed GOAT emoji on Twitter for Zack Snyder was actually faked by some SnyderVerse fans.

This actually really disappointing news for us because firstly, we really do love Zack Snyder and think that he should be celebrated online.

Secondly, I don’t like the fact that SnyderVerse fans went to such lengths for something rather silly – let’s be honest here.

Twitter was putting emoji’s after some celebrities’ hashtags on the platform.

The likes of footballers Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo got GOAT emojis after their names on Twitter.

Others included American footballer Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes and Olympic athlete Simone Biles.

No filmmaker got a GOAT after their names, apart from, reportedly Zack Snyder.

Twitter didn’t give Zack Snyder the GOAT emoji after all – it was all a ruse

Well, turns out it was all a ruse, that Snyder himself seemed to be in on.

He took to Twitter to thank the social media platform, saying in a tweet: “Thanks Twitter. #ZackSnyder.”

If you’re to post the hashtag #ZackSnyder, you might notice that there’s no goat emoji that appears after his name on Twitter.

So, what was going on was fans (and Snyder himself) were just putting the goat emoji after the hashtag themselves.

Now, it’s not a massive problem, but people made it seem as though Snyder was one of the people on the platform to get the GOAT emoji after his name.

That is a bit of a problem because it just wasn’t the case.

Should Twitter make Zack Snyder a GOAT?

Maybe Twitter might decide to add it, and that would be really cool and probably deserved given all the great work Snyder has done in his career so far.

However, only time will tell, and as of writing this article, he is not one of the celebrities to have received the GOAT emoji after his name on Twitter officially.

I loved Zack Snyder’s Justice League, and he’s made incredible films such as Watchmen, 300, Dawn Of The Dead, Batman V Superman and Man Of Steel to name but a few of his movies.

Netflix’s Rebel Moon is next, and I can’t wait for that movie.
