Neve Campbell has revealed that she has been approached to star in the upcoming Scream 6 movie, which is great news!
She revealed during a Q&A panel at the Mad Monster Party horror convention this past weekend in North Carolina.
Campbell was asked whether she’s been contacted about the next Scream movie.
She replied: “They have approached me.”
Campbell then went on to add the following:
There’s no script yet. There is a draft coming in soon is what I was told. Actually, I was supposed to call a producer yesterday, because he wanted to talk to me about what’s going on. You know, we’ll see. I’ll read the script and see how I feel.

I loved the recent Scream movie.
It was the first film in the franchise that I really enjoyed since Scream 2.
It’s been a bit of a dwindling franchise over the years, but it looks like 2022’s Scream really managed to revitalise the horror franchise.
The movie saw the likes of Neve Campbell, Courtney Cox and David Arquette all return to the horror franchise.
It was also a loving homage to the franchise’s creator, Wes Craven, which is another reason why I loved it so much.
I say, bring on Scream 6 and let’s hope that there are many more of these slashers to come.
