Zack Snyder Hasn’t Been Asked To Do More DC Movies… Yet

Zack Snyder himself revealed that Warner Bros Discovery hasn’t asked him to return to do new movies for DC Studios. He revealed this during a recent interview, and you can check out the snippet in which he discussed a possible return to Warner Bros. Pictures to make more DC films via Twitter.

Here’s what Snyder had to say about a possible return to DC to make more movies:

As far as I know, I’m doing my thing and haven’t had anyone give me a call.

This comes after Zack Snyder sent a message to Henry Cavill, congratulating him for his return as Superman and claiming that he’s looking forward to working together in the future. Now, this could mean that Zack wants to work with Cavill again in a future, un-DC-related project. Maybe a Rebel Moon sequel?

However, many fans think he was talking about making another DC film with Cavill. Could Snyder make another Man Of Steel movie? Well, that could happen. However, I think that it’s not that likely. Henry Cavill made it very clear that he wants to play a more joyful Superman in the future. That just doesn’t align with Snyder’s vision for the character.

We contacted our sources about whether Snyder could make more movies for DC. They didn’t give us a solid response. However, one source said that they “wouldn’t rule out Snyder making a return to the DC Universe in some capacity”. We’ve actually seen him turn up in the animated Teen Titans Go! series as himself, which was fun.

However, it does look like under the new leadership of James Gunn and Peter Safran, DC Studios might be more open-minded about bringing back the likes of Snyder to make new films for them. I think there will be room for all sorts of interesting things in the DCU’s future. We’re going to have to wait and see what will happen.
