Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin Is Reportedly Getting A Solo Movie

It’s being reported that Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin is getting his own solo movie which will be made by Sony Pictures.

This report comes from Giant Freakin Robot.

It’s already been rumoured that Willem Dafoe is going to be returning to the Marvel movies as the Green Goblin.

Dafoe played the iconic Marvel villain in Sam Raimi’s first Spider-Man movie and he was just brilliant in the role.

He was perfectly cast in the role and just brilliantly creepy as Norman Osborne, and I cannot wait to see him back in the role.

It now seems as though he won’t only be back in Spider-Man: No Way Home, but he’s also reportedly getting his own solo movie.

Here’s what Giant Freakin Robot had to say on Willem Dafoe getting his own solo Green Goblin movie:

According to our trusted inside source – the same one that has provided Giant Freakin Robot with multiple confirmed exclusive scoops that have included Bruce Campbell appearing for a cameo in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Monica Rambeau being a main character in the upcoming Disney+ series Secret Invasion, and Chloe Bennet returning as Quake for a new Marvel series – Willem Dafoe won’t just return as the Green Goblin but is also having a solo movie developed for his version of the character. Exactly what the plot would be for this movie is unclear at this point, but we do think we know why this approach is being done.
