It’s been revealed that WandaVision Season 2 isn’t happening over at Marvel Studios, which is pretty upsetting for us Wanda fans!

This was revealed by Mohamed Diab who is one of the main directors of the upcoming MCU Moon Knight series.

Moon Knight is going to debut on Disney Plus on March 30th.

There have been reports before now that WandaVision Season 2 might not happen.

However, there was still hope for a Season 2, but it looks like those hopes have been dashed.

Here’s what Diap said when he was asked about WandaVision Season 2 during an interview with SFX Magazine (via GamesRadar):

It’s like a crazy world. Even with the successful shows, like WandaVision, they’re not doing season two. She jumped into a film, maybe she’s going to come back or not. I don’t know. And that’s exciting.

It is true that WandaVision was billed as a ‘limited series’ which tends to mean that it’s only getting one season.

However, some limited series have had second seasons in the past.

Also, Elizabeth Olsen did say in the past that she wouldn’t say no to a second season.

What we are getting is a WandaVision spinoff show in Agatha: House Of Harkness.

So, that show could be seen as a spiritual successor to WandaVision.

“I’ve been at Marvel too long to say a definite ‘no’ to anything as far as a second season of WandaVision,” Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige previously said in a 2021 interview.

“Lizzie Olsen will go from WandaVision to the Doctor Strange film.”

“The fun of the MCU is obviously all the crossover we can do between series, between films,” Feige added.

“So, it will vary based on the story. Sometimes it will go into a Season 2, sometimes it will go into a feature and back into a series. Sometimes, and yet to be announced, we’re thinking of and planning second seasons for some of the upcoming series,” he finished.
