Vincent D’Onofrio has revealed that he would love to see Kingpin – aka Wilson Fisk – go up again Spider-Man in the MCU.
He revealed this in a recent interview with Jake’s Takes, and he got quite real about the whole thing.
Here’s what he had to say when he was asked which MCU character he’d like to see Kingpin go up against:
It would definitely have to be Spider-Man one day, I’m hoping. We’ll see if they ask me to do it. Kingpin lived in a world of Punisher, Daredevil, and Spider-Man, so that would be the one.
Honestly, D’Onofrio’s Kingpin would be the perfect villain for Tom Holland’s Spider-Man.
It would also be a great way to bring in Charlie Cox’s Daredevil and Jon Bernthal’s Punisher into the MCU.
Kingpin Vs. Spider-Man: Vincent D’Onofrio wants to see it!
There have been rumours for quite some time now that Vincent D’Onofrio is set to return as the Kingpin in the MCU.
I’ve even seen some scoopers claim that Kevin Feige wants to bring him back also.
I genuinely think it would be a no-brainer to have D’Onofrio return as Kingpin.
I don’t think there’s anyone in Hollywood who’s better suited to the role.
It’s a bit like Charlie Cox, Jon Bernthal and Krysten Ritter.
They were all perfectly cast in those Netflix Marvel shows and deserve to return in the MCU.
I think fans would appreciate it, and so would the actors.
