The Suicide Squad Will The First R-Rated DC Comics Movie

It’s being rumoured that James Gunn’s upcoming The Suicide Squad movie is going to be an R-rated superhero movie, which is what it should be.

This news comes from Grace Randolph, so maybe take it with a pinch of salt.

However, she’s claiming that’s actually been confirmed in Empire Magazine, so let’s run with it.

They’re claiming that James Gunn’s upcoming The Suicide Squad movie is going to be R-Rated.

Honestly, this makes total sense to me and actually seems pretty obvious.

James Gunn would really want to push the boundaries of a comic book movie with this film.

So, it makes sense to think that he would have only agreed to make the movie if Warner Bros. would have let him make it R-Rated.

Anyway, according to Randolph, this was confirmed in the new issue of Empire Magazine.

Annoyingly, I still haven’t been able to get my hands on their latest issue yet, which is a The Suicide Squad issue.

Therefore, I haven’t been able to confirm it for myself.

Yet, as I mentioned about, it makes perfect sense to make this upcoming Suicide Squad movie R-Rated.

I wouldn’t be surprised if this movie ends up beating Deadpool’s record of being the highest-grossing R-Rated movie of all time.

We’ll have to wait and see as far as that one’s concerned.

Hopefully, the movie won’t end up being delayed due to the current Coronavirus pandemic.

What do you make of this rumour?

Would you like The Suicide Squad movie to be R-Rated?
