The Mandalorian Season 2 Is Coming To Disney Plus’ In October 2020

The Mandalorian Season 2’s release date has been revealed.

The second season of the very first live-action TV show will be released on Disney Plus in October 2020.

This is a very quick turn around for a show like this, but it seems like Disney and Lucasfilm are very keen on getting it out there as soon as possible.

I don’t think I can remember the second season of a show being made and released so quickly.

Hopefully, Jon Favreau’s been hard at work for quite some time on the second season.

Favreau is The Mandalorian’s showrunner and he wrote most of the first season’s scripts along with Dave Filloni.

It was revealed via Twitter that Bob Iger told investors during a recent earnings report.

Iger told investors that The Mandalorian Season 2 would be coming out in October of this year.

This would have been to convince investors that there is a future in the Star Wars franchise.

The Mandalorian Season 1 was really well received by critics and Star Wars fans alike.

Ashley Carter was one of the many journalists listening in on Iger’s phone call with investors.

He then took to Twitter to reveal all the juicy information that Iger revealed during the call.

I really cannot wait to see this second season of The Mandalorian, but I am a bit worried by how quick the turn around will be on it.

That said, many Star Wars fans will be glad to see the show return because they, like myself, want to know what’s going to happen next.
