Ahsoka-Tano Star Wars Brie Larson

The Mandalorian Season 2 is currently being prepped over at Lucasfilm and Disney Plus and there’s now news that Rosario Dawson could be about to play Ahsoka Tano in the series.

She revealed via social media that she would really love to play the character in The Mandalorian Season 2.

A fan posted an image of Dawson on one side and Ahsoka on the other and accompanied it with the following caption:

Just for reference Ahsoka Tano would be in her early-mid 40s during #TheMandalorian

Dawson then retweeted this and wrote: “Tell ‘em! #AhsokaLives”.

This started a wave of support on social media for the actress to play the role in The Mandalorian Season 2.

leading to a wave of support for her in the role from fans.

However, there were some fans that revealed they wanted Ahsoka’s voice actress, Ashley Eckstein to play the role should Ahsoka ever turn up in a live-action Star Wars property.

Should Rosario Dawnson play Ahsoka Tano in The Mandalorian Season 2?

That was when a few fans came up with the idea of having Rosario play Ashoka in a similar way Darth Maul in Solo: A Star Wars Story.

This would see Dawson playing the physical character and Eckstein providing her voice.

Dawson is a bit of a pop culture icon already having played nurse Claire Temple in Marvel’s Netflix shows.

She’s also been the voice of Barbara Gordon/Batgirl in The Lego Batman Movie and she was Diana Prince/Wonder Woman in a number of DC Animated Original Movies.

She, therefore, knows what it takes to play a much-beloved character and I believe would be the perfect person to play Ahsoka Tano in live-action.

What do you think? Do you think Rosario Dawson is the right person to play Ahsoka Tano in The Mandalorian Season 2?
