The Mandalorian Fans Have Worked Out The Identity Of The Ice Planet In Season 2 Episode 2

the mandalorian Season 2 Episode 2 Review

Fans of The Mandalorian have worked out which planet the ice planet was in Season 2 Episode 2, and it could bring us back to the start. What I mean by that, is that fans have seemingly worked out that the ice planet is the same one we saw in Season 1 Episode 1.

This was revealed via a fan on Reddit who revealed his theory on where the whole episode took place. It saw Mando, The Child and a mysterious Frog Lady passenger end up stranded in a scary cave with some even scarier spider creatures.

They only just made it out alive (spoilers), yet it turns out that it wasn’t Mando’s first time on this strange ice planet. According to this fan on Reddit, they were on Maldo Kreis, which is the frosty place where we were first introduced to Mando.

How did they work this out? Well, let me tell you, it wasn’t easy. The fan, called Repulsive-Reveal-278, spotted an image of the ship’s display screens during the episode. This display showed the name of the planet they were heading in Aurebesh. The user managed to translate this to Maldo Kreis.

I am often amazed by how knowledgeable and devoted Star Wars fans are. This would have taken some time to translate, and yet they did it and ended up with some interesting information about the latest episode of the very first live-action Star Wars show.
