Doctor Strange 2’s Leaked Plot Synopsis Suggests He Unleashes The Multiverse

Doctor Strange Spider-Man 3 Marvel

A supposed leaked plot synopsis for Doctor Strange 2 has suggested that Doctor Strange himself is the person responsible for unleashing the Multiverse. So, it sounds like Doctor Strange might be causing havoc in the MCU.

This film was originally going to be directed by Scott Derrickson, who made the first film. However, he ended up leaving the project due to “creative differences”. Derrickson was then replaced by Sam Raimi, who’s working on the movie as we speak.

It now seems as though this movie will be pretty scary and will feature some very evil characters and/or creatures. The film’s plot synopsis has been leaked online via Twitter, and it seems to hint at Strange being the one who opened the MCU up to the Multiverse. This could also explain how the likes of Deadpool and Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield’s versions of Spider-Man will end up cameoing in the movie.

Doctor Strange 2 could see Doctor Strange himself unleash the Multiverse

Here’s the leaked plot synopsis for Doctor Strange 2 which seems to suggest that Doctor Strange himself is the one who opens up the MCU to the chaos of the Multiverse:

After the events of Avengers: Endgame, Dr. Strange continues his research on the Time Stone. But an old friend-turned-enemy puts an end to his plans and causes Strange to unleash unspeakable evil.

To me, this seems to indicate that Baron Mordo is the one who comes back and ends up forcing Strange’s hand. He’ll probably have no other choice than to go to the Multiverse, in which lies an unspeakable evil.
