Amazon’s The Lord Of The Rings TV Series Might Adapt Parts Of The Movie

It’s being rumoured that the upcoming The Lord of the Rings TV series on Amazon Prime Video could end up adapting parts of the movies.

It was huge news when Amazon revealed they’d bought the TV rights to The Lord of the Rings.

They revealed they would be making a huge show based on the books by J. R. R. Tolkien.

It was first believed that this upcoming Amazon Lord of the Rings series would focus mainly on the books.

This looks like it’ll still be the case, yet there are rumours now that they are also going to adapting parts of the movies too.

The films are as close to the books as you can get.

That was something that Peter Jackson wanted to make sure he did when making the films.

However, they were forced to make quite a few changes since film is a very different medium to the written word.

According to We Got This Covered’s sources, Amazon is now looking into adapting parts of the movies for their series.

This means that parts of the movies that weren’t in the books might also make their way into this upcoming Amazon series.

It seems as though it’ll end up taking the best bits out of both the movies and the books.

That’s a pretty good position to be in, and I’m sure fans will appreciate that.

It’s also been revealed that Amazon is going to spare no expense when making this new Lord of the Rings series.

They’re reportedly going to spend more money than any other TV show in history to make The Lord of the Rings TV show.

I’m really looking forward to seeing what the end result will be when the first season of the show finally comes to Amazon Prime Video.
