The Last Of Us Part 2 Has Been Delayed ‘Until Further Notice’ Due To Coronavirus

It’s been revealed by PlayStation on Twitter that they’ve been forced to push the release date of The Last Of Us Part 2 due to Coronavirus.

There have been a whole host of movies, TV shows and video games delayed due to this pandemic.

Let’s just say that it’s not the best time to be a movie or video game enthusiast right now.

That said, it does mean we finally have some time to catch up on everything we’ve missed.

Personally, I’ve been able to finish the likes of Luigi’s Mansion 3 and The Legend Of Zelda: Link’s Awakening thanks to this lockdown.

I’m now trying to make my way though Breath of the Wild.

However, I was really looking forward to playing Naughty Dog’s next game, The Last Of Us Part 2.

It was revealed via PlayStation’s official Twitter account that they’ve been forced to push back the release dates of The Last Of Us Part 2 and Iron Man VR.

Hopefully, this means that when the games do come out they’re as good as they possibly can be.

As Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto once said: “A delayed game is eventually good, but a rushed game is forever bad.”

That said, this is a whole different situation. I’m pretty sure both games were finished.

The delay has more to do with the online services that are at breaking point at the moment.

This is due to all the people playing online due to the lockdown.
