Idris Elba Is Rumoured To Be Returning For Hobbs & Shaw 2

It’s being rumoured that Idris Elba might be returning as Brixton in the sequel to Hobbs & Shaw, which for now is being called Hobbs & Shaw 2.

This rumour comes from We Got This Covered’s sources, so it might be a load of rubbish.

Given how Idris Elba’s character, Brixton, ending up in the first Hobbs & Shaw movie, you might be surprised to hear he could come back.

I was pretty skeptical to begin with when I saw this bit of ‘news’.

However, it was then pointed out to me that this is part of the Fast & Furious franchise and anything can happen in this movie universe.

People come back from the dead all the time, and Idris Elba is incredibly popular.

One thing that could happen is that his character, Brixton, ends up joining Hobbs & Shaw on a mission.

This would be much like how Statham’s character, Deckard Shaw ended up joining the Fast & Furious crew.

He was a villain to begin with and then ended up becoming a good guy through some rather convulted plot-twist.

These movies are pretty much action telenovelas and stuff like this happens all the time.

Bad guys become good and good guys become bad.

All they need are some evil twins turn up and then it would be a telenovela.
